Development Is a Shared Process

Competence development, either individual or organizational, is not the product but the process. Although there are no unique recipes, there are always three good ingredients needed for the success:
The first is the need for development, recognized by the organization – setup of development objectives and decision to allocate needed resources for that: time, expert support, coaching/mentoring, appropriate business challenges and regular progress tracking.
The second is an expert support from trainer – education with showing, explaining and competence practicing.
The third is own effort of teams and individuals – the desire for development bringing the application and practicing of new knowledge in (the) real life.
The real progress is possible only with all 3 ingredients aligned. 
We contribute to the 1st ingredient by consulting, bring the 2nd one with trainings and workshops, and you should provide the 3rd one yourselves.
